Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: BJ Bridge at free with in-app purchases against Bridge Mentor's subscription. BJ Bridge also leads on review sentiment (77% vs 56%) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Bridge Mentor's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BJ Bridge sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and Bridge Mentor sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
BJ Bridge holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bridge Mentor has 680 ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of BJ Bridge's written reviews are positive against 56% of Bridge Mentor's.
BJ Bridge ships an update every 2 months, Bridge Mentor every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
