Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: BlindBoxes at 4.5 against Blindfall's 3.8. BlindBoxes also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). Blindfall's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 108 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blindfall sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. BlindBoxes asks for nothing beyond the download.
BlindBoxes holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of BlindBoxes's written reviews are positive against 86% of Blindfall's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
BlindBoxes ships an update every 108 months, Blindfall every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
