About

Boa

Features

Your phone is full of videos you do not want to delete. Boa makes them smaller, so you can keep every one and still get the space back. Swipe through your library one video at a time. Each card shows what the video weighs now, what the compressed copy would weigh, and what deleting the original would give back. Swipe right to compress, left to skip. HOW IT WORKS 1. Compress. Boa writes a smaller copy into your library, next to the original. Nothing is moved, changed or removed. 2. Compare. Play the copy against the original, side by side on one clock, and judge the quality for yourself. 3. Reclaim. When you are happy with a copy, delete its original from the Reclaim tab. That is the moment the space comes back, fully, once you empty Recently Deleted. WHAT YOU GET • Batch compression that keeps running in the background, even when the screen locks • HDR and wide color preserved, HLG and Dolby Vision footage keeps its look instead of coming back washed out • 4K, 60fps, slow motion and time lapse all handled • Real numbers before you commit: estimated size and saving on every card, at your current settings • Side-by-side comparison against the original before you delete anything • Filter and sort by size, so you can start with the videos costing you the most • Copies saved to their own Boa album and never offered back to you as candidates • Quality, resolution and codec controls when you want them, sensible defaults when you do not • Works with iCloud Photos, and asks first before downloading anything over cellular NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE Compression runs entirely on your device, using Apple's own video frameworks. Your videos are never uploaded, never seen by us, and never sent anywhere. There is no account and no sign-in. FREE TO TRY Your first three videos are free, enough to compress something real, compare it against the original, and decide for yourself.
