Two minutes. One idea. No feed to scroll. Tiny Reads is a quiet reading app: short articles you actually finish, on topics you picked yourself instead of an algorithm. Your topics live in a library. Categories are shelves, and every theme on them is a book — Science, History, Culture, Psychology, Philosophy, Nature, Finance, Health and Technology. Pick the books you are curious about and swipe through your deck: right to save, left to dismiss, tap to read. Select any passage while reading to keep it as a highlight and add a personal note. Pin a highlight straight to your Home Screen, next to a widget that keeps a fresh article within reach — so reading stays part of your day. Nothing disappears. Your archive keeps saved, read and dismissed cards, with filters by shelf or by book and search inside it. Every shelf comes with a free Universal book, and Space sits on the Science shelf for free as well. If you want to go deeper into one subject, themed books unlock 80 short articles each — Physics, Neuroscience, Ancient Rome, Ancient Egypt, Japan, France, Cognitive Biases, Trauma, Stoicism, Existentialism, How Money Works, Financial Crashes, Ocean, Arctic, Sleep, Immune System, AI and the Internet. They are one-time purchases. No subscriptions, ever. Features: • Short articles you can finish in two minutes • A library of shelves and books — keep only the topics you care about • Swipe to save or dismiss, tap to read • Highlight passages and add your own notes • Home Screen widgets — a fresh article to build a reading habit, plus your saved highlights • Clean reader view • Archive with filters and search • Light and dark themes • No account required to start Made for simple curiosity, quiet learning and small daily reading moments — without feeds, noise or endless scrolling. I built this app because I wanted it to exist for myself, and I am genuinely excited about where the idea can go. I would love to hear what you think of it. Good, bad, or somewhere in between — every bit of feedback is welcome, and I am always happy to keep improving Tiny Reads. More topics, books and reading cards are planned for future versions. I am also open to collaborating with a designer who enjoys thoughtful, minimal reading experiences. If that sounds interesting, feel free to contact me.
