Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Твистер at none against Alias's 31. Твистер also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Alias's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alias sells 31 one-off in-app purchases. Твистер asks for nothing beyond the download.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Alias against 5.0 for Твистер. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alias has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 94% of Alias's written reviews are positive against 100% of Твистер's.
Alias ships an update every 2 months, Твистер every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
