Real-Time Driver Tracking for Passengers requires background location access to update the driver’s location on the map in real-time, even when the app is minimized or the screen is locked. This feature ensures accurate arrival estimates, enhances passenger safety by enabling continuous tracking, and delivers a seamless experience that users rely on. Without background access, this core functionality is disrupted. We ensure compliance with location policies and transparency in data use.
