The Speed of Sound in Air, where you are. The Cair app calculates the Speed of Sound in Air from the air temperature, air pressure, and air humidity, optionally using the local conditions as provided by Apple Weather. If your device supports it, Cair is able to get the local air pressure directly from the device. There are popups to see the values in both metric and imperial units, and you can pick your preferred units for the main display of the values. Cair can pass it's calculated Speed of Sound to another dgApps app, Lambda version 2.0.0 and newer. Lambda can use the Cair calculated Speed of Sound in it's calculation of frequency, wavelength, and musical note. Cair is a universal app, equally at home on an iPhone as on a iPad. In Split Mode on an iPad device, side by side with Lambda, the calculated Speed of Sound in Air is passed in real time to the Lambda app. Cair allows you to share it's calculated Speed of Sound in Air via all the usual sharing methods.
SoilDoc
Read full descriptionHide full description
Soil structure is an essential component of soil fertility. The spade diagnosis is a suitable method for assessing the soil structure and other attributes of soil quality from observations such as odour, colour, roots, soil particles or soil layers. The SoilDoc app guides you through the spade diagnosis and the observations for a complete assessment of a selected soil. The app can replace former printed instructions. The SoilDoc app asks questions about the soil, which can be answered with a simple click. Additional information and example pictures help to find the answers. During the evaluation, the app collects all observations made and generates a report. The report is stored on the mobile phone and can then be exported in csv, txt or html format and saved as a PDF file on a computer. The simple archiving of the observations facilitates the comparison of different surveys at the same location.
