Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Shapiro Auctions at 5.0 against Clements Auctions's 4.5. Clements Auctions's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Shapiro Auctions holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clements Auctions has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
