Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Konspektor is free to download; MakePDF costs $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
MakePDF holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of MakePDF's written reviews are positive against 100% of Konspektor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MakePDF ships an update every 4 months, Konspektor every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
