Note: This Free version only provides one of the nine activities. The others are available as an in-app purchase. Number sense is foundational to mathematics. Stages math is a number sense app curriculum for assessment and instruction. Activities improve students' number sense and correlate with math standards for typically developing students in pre-K to 3rd grade. Research surrounding differentiated instruction and universal design for learning has guided the development of this software. Instruction and assessment activities are provided in nine key mathematical skill areas. Each skill area has learning scaffolds with customizable settings. For example, you can select activities like counting money, academic goals like the coins and bills presented, and student access method like mouse or switch use. Students begin within the parameters you set. Then, built-in program “smartness” guides students’ advancement in tiny increments. Data are gathered during instructional practice and assessments. Detailed information such as questions asked, student responses, and time spent are reported. The program accumulates student performance over time, which helps you build meaningful student portfolios.

Features of Barnyard Picks • Four engaging games that help kids develop reading comprehension • Increments to the next sentence group once the child has mastered the current group • Helps train attention to detail and focus • Difficulty level is automatically adjusted • Scores are automatically saved to show progress and can be used to identify a child's success. • Scores can also be emailed to keep a record of a child's progress. • Colorful graphics and lively music make this game fun to play • Kid-safe: No third party ads or tracking These BrainTrain games help children develop their reading comprehension skills. Children, ages 6 to 8, will explore a farm as they have fun playing and learning. All of our games are specially created to help children practice the cognitive abilities important in school and life. The games involve choosing the correct word to complete each sentence. They automatically increment to the next sentence group after the student has mastered the current group twice. The games automatically adjust to allow children to learn at a level of difficulty personalized for them. As they succeed, new challenges at harder levels will be presented. While a child's difficulty level is automatically adjusted based on his or her performance, it can be easily modified by parents or teachers when necessary. Distraction stimuli can also be added to reinforce increased focus and the ability to stay on task. This reading comprehension game becomes progressively more challenging as players succeed and improve. Each game level must be completed for grades to be saved. A training session is completed only when the program is stopped and then removed from memory. If the program is left open in the background and it is selected, then the last session started will be continued.
