Vurro is an independent, third-party app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Substack, Inc. "Substack" is a trademark of Substack, Inc., used here only to describe compatibility. Vurro is a third-party Substack client that adds the chat tools Substack doesn't have. If you read Substack chats regularly, you already know what's missing: no way to search messages, no way to bookmark, no way to filter by user, no way to view quoted context inline. Vurro fixes all of that. WHAT VURRO ADDS • Search — find message text across threads and subthreads, with results highlighted • Bookmarks — save any message (thread, reply, or subthread reply) to a dedicated area; tap to jump back to its place in the chat • Watched Users — filter the chat to show only posts from the people you care about • Direct Links — copy a link to any thread or message and share exactly what you're talking about • Filter Chips — combinable filters: bookmarked + your replies + specific users — mix and match • Inline Quotes — see quoted messages inline; no jumping back through history for context • Accurate Read/Unread -Substack's own apps mark an entire thread read the moment you open it. Vurro tracks what you've actually seen on screen — so when a busy thread has more messages than you can get through in one sitting, close the app and come right back to the first one you haven't read.
