All you need to orienteer on your phone. Record, store, replay and analyze your orienteering runs. Keep all your races, trainings, maps and courses organized in one place. Train O-App makes orienteering more accessible than ever. No need for a printed map, compass, SI-card, or control flags. From planning to running in seconds. O-App will show you the map and compass and use the GPS in your device to auto-punch when you get close to a control. With a digital map, the struggle to see small map details is over, and it's great for night orienteering, too. Plan courses and run them yourself or share them for others to run. Replay & analysis Review your race at the finish line in just a few taps. No more waiting for the official replay platform to unlock the event. Visualize your route and legs while the race is still fresh in your memory. Analyze your runs in depth. Time, pace, track distance, track extra, climb, etc., all broken down per leg. Share & import Share your tracks with your fellow orienteers and compare their routes to yours in our multi-runner replay interface. You may also add a run by importing the GPX track recorded with other fitness platforms like Strava, Garmin, Coros, Polar or Suunto.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: O at every 2 days against LiveTrail's every 5 days. LiveTrail's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.5). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
