With support for offline data collection -- including videos and photos -- Ushahidi for iOS helps you quickly complete surveys from your iPhone in any location, with or without an Internet connection. The app saves data that you and your contributors collect with it and sends the report to the appropriate Ushahidi deployment. Ushahidi for iOS also allows you to manage multiple Ushahidi deployments in one place. And a simple search-by-name tool makes it easy to add them. Ushahidi deployments are a suite of tools that allow people to collect, organize and visualize data in a single place. They help you build custom surveys, import data from third-party services (like SMS and Twitter), and then share it publicly in a map or timeline. Anyone can create an Ushahidi deployment at ushahidi.com. Once added to the iOS app, a deployment’s survey data is available to explore in both map and timeline views. Any of the 5,000-plus deployments already created at ushahidi.com can be added today to Ushahidi for iOS.

Tired of your camera roll being a messy drawer of things you don't need? Receipts, parking spots, Wi-Fi passwords, and locker numbers don't belong next to your memories. Meet A Day, the self-clearing visual notepad. A Day is a simple tool built for one purpose: to hold your temporary visual notes, and then get out of the way. Capture a quick "snap" of anything you need to remember right now, but not forever. How it works: - A Clean Slate: Every snap you take disappears automatically after 24 hours. - Just 24: A simple 24-item limit keeps things light and manageable. - Stress-Free Utility: Use it for quick notes, reminders, or anything you'll be done with by tomorrow. Stop cluttering your gallery. Start your day fresh.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: A Day at every 5 days against Ushahidi Mobile's every 2 months. Ushahidi Mobile's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
