Opora PL
Read full descriptionHide full description
Opora PL is a safety app for Ukrainians living, working or travelling in Poland. In a difficult moment it helps you do what matters in 2–3 taps: share your location, call someone you trust or the emergency services, and communicate in Polish. The app's interface is in Ukrainian; Polish appears in the ready-made phrases. WHAT IT DOES • Share your location — one tap builds a message with a map link to where you are and opens the system share sheet: WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, SMS. • Trusted contacts — add the people close to you and call them straight from the home screen. • Emergency numbers — 112, 997 (police) and 999 (ambulance) are always on the home screen, never behind a paywall or an ad. • Useful numbers for Poland — fire service 998, city guard 986, the "Niebieska Linia" domestic-violence helpline, crisis lines 116 123 and 116 111, the foreigners' office infoline, the Ukrainian embassy. • 85 Polish phrases in 10 categories — talking to the police or paramedics, threats and harassment, asking passers-by for help, public transport, shops, the doctor, public offices. Every phrase comes with a Ukrainian translation, a pronunciation hint and the correct masculine or feminine form. Everything works offline. • Language card — a single screen with the emergency numbers and a one-line explanation of the language barrier, ready to show, send or save as an image. • Quick access — home-screen widgets, the iPhone Action Button and Siri. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT • No sign-up, no accounts, no backend server. • Contacts and settings live only on your device. • Your location is read once, at the moment you share it, and is never stored. No background tracking. • The app never reads your phone book — contacts are picked through the system picker. FREE FOREVER Calls to 112/997/999, one trusted contact, one-shot location sharing, 10 core phrases, the useful-numbers directory and the language card. OPORA PRO • The full phrase catalog (85) and new categories • Up to 5 trusted contacts and location sharing from a contact card • Multiple message templates plus your own text • Search, favourites and full-screen phrase display IMPORTANT Opora PL is not an official product of the Polish emergency services and is not a rescue service. It only makes calling and communicating faster; every call is placed by you through the system phone app. Privacy Policy: https://nvsoftlab.com/pages/opora-pl/privacy-policy/?lang=en Terms of Use: https://nvsoftlab.com/pages/opora-pl/terms-of-use/?lang=en
