farming practices. View, edit, and export data to Excel using our Cloud Portal. Create custom projects with our Project Management feature and share soil test results with team members.

About

Find My Understudied Genes

This tool assists biologists in identifying genes that are not well-researched. It allows users to filter gene lists based on various factors like research articles, expression probability, and disease associations to assess their potential for future study.

Highlights
  • Identify understudied genes
  • Filter genes by research articles
  • Analyze gene expression probability
  • Check homology in model organisms
  • Assess reagent availability
  • Evaluate gene-disease relationships

Find My Understudied Genes (FMUG) is a rationally-designed tool to helps biologists identify understudied genes and characterize their tractability for future research. Users submit a list of human genes (presumably from a high-throughput -omics experiment) and can filter these genes down based on a large list of factors, including: - Number of articles about gene - Probability of differential expression - Homology in model organisms - Availability of reagents - Number of articles about relationship between gene and disease and many more!
