Anchor Judging

Four judges, four different scores? Anchor Judging is where martial arts judges, coaches and competitors calibrate their eye: you score real competition videos with the same clicker a judge uses at ringside, and then compare your score with a whole panel's. WATCH AND SCORE, ONE PASS Open a video from the community wall. Before it starts, the rules on one screen: turn the phone sideways, the video plays once, no pause, no rewind, no hints. Your score starts at the discipline's value and every tap deducts, exactly as at a tournament. When the video ends you review your round on a timeline and can anchor a comment to the second of a click. THE CONSENSUS IS EARNED The panel's consensus is the median of every judge who scored that video, and it stays hidden until you send your own score. Score first, then compare: that is what keeps the number honest. It measures your judgement, not your ability to copy a number on screen. Each video is scored once per account. THE REVEAL Your score against the panel's median, the difference, your precision, and a dot plot of every judge's score so you see where you sit. The list of judges shows who scored it and what they gave, with their comments. PUBLISH YOUR OWN Record an execution and publish it in two steps: pick the discipline and the way of scoring, say whether the video shows one competitor or two corners, and let the community judge it. You see every score your video received, by name. The author's own score never counts in the consensus. A COMMUNITY YOU CAN TRUST Comments ride with every score, and you can answer them. Share any video by link. Report a video or a comment for review, or block an account: its videos and comments stop reaching you at once, and you can undo it from your profile. REAL RULES, NOT STARS Scoring rules in Anchor are configuration, not code. ITF Taekwon-Do tul (patterns) and sparring come configured today, with their starting scores, deductions, points and corners. Karate kata, poomsae, kickboxing, boxing and any other sport judged by a panel can be set up the same way. PART OF THE ANCHOR PLATFORM Anchor is the judge calibration platform: it measures how closely a judge's scoring matches a reference, click by click, on real footage. The full platform for federations, courses and instructors, with expert references, courses and live classes by QR, lives on the web at anchorjudging.com. This app is its community: practise your judgement, in public. Four short tutorials, in English and Spanish, show every screen: anchorjudging.com/en/#tutoriales Questions: anchorjudging.com/en/#faq or support@jhanu.com
