Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Formed at 4.9 against WeConnect Parish App's 3.6. Formed also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 51) and chart position (#196 vs unranked). WeConnect Parish App's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Formed sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. WeConnect Parish App asks for nothing beyond the download.
Formed holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Formed has 14K ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 99% of Formed's written reviews are positive against 100% of WeConnect Parish App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Formed ships an update every 2 months, WeConnect Parish App every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
