Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: 99刻烘焙 at 100% against 菜谱's 56%. 99刻烘焙 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). 菜谱's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (36 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. 菜谱 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. 99刻烘焙 asks for nothing beyond the download.
菜谱 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 菜谱 has 36 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of 99刻烘焙's written reviews are positive against 56% of 菜谱's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
99刻烘焙 ships an update monthly, 菜谱 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
