AMSA Pilot vs Metra Plus

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) Marine Pilot Reporting Mobile Application (App) is primarily an information-sharing tool to help improve maritime safety. The App assists Australian marine pilots to easily notify AMSA where non-compliance with pilot transfer requirements is suspected. Suspected instances of non-compliance with the SOLAS and/or ISO requirements associated with pilot ladders and pilot transfer arrangements should be notified to AMSA as soon as possible. Many useful information resources regarding pilot transfer arrangements are contained in the App including the IMO Pilot Boarding Poster, IMO Resolutions, ISO 799, relevant Marine Notices etc. The App can also be used to report general marine safety concerns via AMSA's online Form 355.  User's must accept the 'User Agreement to gain access to the App.  For further information, or to report technical issues with the App, please contact the developers 'App Wizard' via email to info@appwizard.com.au. Metra Plus gives mobile flexibility to smart locker users allowing you to hire, open, manage and share your lockers at your convenience. When you locate your facility from a drop-down menu in the app – this could be your gym, pool, or workplace smart locker – you will be presented with the smart locker reservation options available to you. Select the location and size of your locker and use your device to open it. Depending on the location parameters these may be free, have time restrictions or have a hire charge which can all be seen and paid through the app.
