The measurement hypotheses were iteratively falsified and/or finally verified in the laboratory under simulated network conditions. This generally formulated method of measurement is equally reliable in testing variable, slow wireless connections and stable broadband connections. It maps the typical usage behaviour of an end user in terms of monitoring period, packet size, number of threads etc. Comprehensive Our Nettest evaluates all the currently available Internet usage scenarios as a whole in one piece of software. This includes the usual measurements such as signal, bandwidth, latency or packet loss, but focuses particularly on parameters regarding network neutrality and quality of service. Reliable The reliability of (aggregated) statistical evaluations depends primarily on the quality of each individual measurement result. Our quality control is fully automated and is achieved by comparison of parts of a measurement and cross-comparison with different measurements. The testing system is designed to be adaptive, i.e. once identified; irregularities are automatically identified if they occur subsequently. Measurements identified as anomalies are not censored, of course. Nemo Active Testing Application is the Keysight proprietary communications interface and application developed for iOS based smartphones (patent pending). With the Nemo Active Testing Application (NATA) interface iPhones communicate with PC-based applications, such as Nemo Outdoor and Nemo Invex. NATA provides the real QoE measurements as all the data services are running on a smartphone. A PC user controls and runs the services on the phone via an NMR interface. The NATA application on the phone transfers the KPIs related to the data transfer to the PC. NATA is the solution for current and future technologies supporting high data rates. This initial version of NATA for iOS includes support for the following data protocols: FTP, HTTP and Ping testing. NATA also provides GPS positioning for all the measurement results.
