Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Civisay at 100% against USCIS's 55%. Civisay also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). USCIS's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.5) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
USCIS holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USCIS has 303 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of USCIS's written reviews are positive against 100% of Civisay's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
USCIS ships an update every 2 months, Civisay every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
