Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Network at none against Ping's 1. Network also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (11.2 vs 14.0). Ping's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (19 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Network holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ping has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Network ships an update every 6 months, Ping every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
