Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Tornado PRO Player at 4.4 against Msheireb's 4.0. Tornado PRO Player also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (50 vs 9). Msheireb's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 50%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Tornado PRO Player holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tornado PRO Player has 50 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Msheireb's written reviews are positive against 50% of Tornado PRO Player's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Msheireb ships an update fortnightly, Tornado PRO Player every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
