Speed has been designed to use Maps and GPS to provide an indication of your current speed and location, with the ability to set an alarm to trigger at a set speed. This app also has a database which you can populate with predefined placemark icons using the buttons provided or by manual input. An additional alarm can be turned on to indicate proximity to your defined placemarks. Speed measurements can be displayed in MPH, KPH, Knots and Mach. The "Mirror" feature allows the device image to be correctly displayed on a reflective surface, such as a vehicle windscreen. Navigating to a stored placemark or POI can be done from the Placemark detail view, which launches the Maps application with the required details.
