Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Delightex Edu at 54% against Splats's 0%. Delightex Edu also leads on ratings volume (179 vs 7) and device support (3 vs 1). Splats's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.9) and in-app purchases (none vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Delightex Edu sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Splats asks for nothing beyond the download.
Splats holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Delightex Edu has 179 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Delightex Edu's written reviews are positive against 0% of Splats's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Delightex Edu ships an update every 3 weeks, Splats every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
