Every flight leaves a film. FlightDots turns the flights you take into short vertical films of your plane crossing a 3D Earth. ■ Just the flight number Enter a flight number and FlightDots finds the date and airports. When a public flight path is available, the route it actually flew comes along too. No flight number? Add the airports and time yourself. ■ A film over the globe Open a flight and tap Make Film. Your plane follows the real route across the Earth, with the seas and cities you passed, your trip photos, flight time and distance. Save it to Photos or share it right away. You can even pick an aircraft that matches the real type. ■ Many trips, one film Choose the flights you've taken and join them in order into a journey film. ■ Follow it on your Lock Screen At departure time your flight appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you can see where you are and how long is left at a glance. Positions from live tracking or schedule estimates are labelled as such. Turn this on in Settings. ■ In flight, just leave it on Start recording once you're seated and your iPhone's GPS keeps the path you really flew. It works in Airplane Mode, and a window seat helps. Apple Watch can record along with it. ■ Your records stay on your device Location records, photos and films are stored only on your device. No account, no ads. Only the flight details needed for lookups and Lock Screen status go to our server. ■ Free to start You get 5 free flight path registrations. Searching never uses one; one is used only when a path is saved. Even after they're used, adding flights by airport, GPS recording and making films stay available.
