MC Inventory, from MovingCommand, is the LiDAR and AI inventory app for moving companies. If your crews run the descriptive inventory the major van lines use, this will feel familiar on day one: the same item tables, the same condition codes, the same location symbols, the same sticker method. We did not reinvent it. We made it faster. Walk the home, tag every piece as it loads, note pre-existing damage, and hand the customer a signed inventory before the truck pulls away. BUILT FOR THE LOAD, NOT THE PRE-QUOTE The inventory is created as the truck loads at origin, signed on the spot, then cross-checked at destination as each number is called off during offload. SCAN A ROOM WITH LiDAR Point the phone and let it measure. Room scanning detects objects and calculates real volume in cubic feet automatically. No tape measure, no guesswork. WALK AND TALK Narrate pieces out loud as the crew works and they land on the inventory live, hands free, right alongside the scan. FOUR WAYS TO TAG A PIECE - Scan: LiDAR captures the room and its objects - Speak: call pieces out hands free while you keep moving - Photograph: snap a piece and let the app identify and name it - Catalog: tap to add from a library of furniture, appliances, electronics, and cartons PRE-EXISTING DAMAGE, ACCURATELY Photograph a piece and the app flags likely pre-existing damage using standard van line location symbols and condition codes. Every suggestion is yours to confirm, edit, or reject before it is recorded. Nothing reaches the inventory without a crew member agreeing to it, because an un-noted scratch becomes a claim and a fabricated one is worse. PERMANENT PER-PIECE NUMBERING Every piece gets one permanent number that never changes and never gets reused. Made a mistake? Lines are voided, not deleted, so the record stays honest, the way a descriptive inventory should read. SPEED INVENTORY Tag a whole home at the pace of your sticker roll. The next number stays on screen, so you never lose your place on the roll. CERTIFIED FORMS INCLUDED Pre-existing damage, property damage, and high-value inventory forms, with the liability language, column headers, condition codes and location symbols intact. LIVE TOTALS Cube feet, estimated weight, and piece count tally at the top of every job as you work. SIGN AND EXPORT Finalize the job, capture the customer signature, and export a print-ready PDF: room by room itemization, measured floor plans, totals, a condition photo appendix, and the signature block. Add your company logo and details so it goes out on your letterhead. BUILT FOR CREWS AND COMPANIES Set up a company workspace and invite your crew with a code. Every job saves to the phone first, so the app keeps working in a basement or a driveway with no signal, and backs up to your company account once the signal comes back. Sign in on a new phone and your jobs come with you; an admin gets the whole company's. Search any job by shipper name or order number. REQUIREMENTS LiDAR room scanning requires an iPhone with a LiDAR sensor (iPhone 12 Pro or later). Manual entry, the catalog, photo and voice capture, and PDF export work across supported iPhones. Free to download and use.
