Contractor’s Work was built to help our peers in the construction industry showcase their skills in order to give them a better chance at closing a bid! Our portfolio feature lets you create, store, and share your work in minutes if not seconds once you’re used to the system! It’s as easy as sending a text. We know the importance of having a digital presence in today’s high-speed society, and understand that word of mouth is how many of us get most of our work so we’ve made it simple! The creator of the application is constantly posting on the app as he’s still roofing all over Pennsylvania and loves to see other people’s work and connect with them. There’s nothing worse than wasting money on leads that 99% of the time don’t work or are fake while the lead providers get to collect our hard-earned money. Our goal is to make sure none of our users ever have to pay for leads in the future by using automation! Come join us and let’s work together to make our space free from all of those just trying to take our money.

DuctRecon is the field operating app for HVAC technicians and shop teams who need a clear record of every service visit. Build a Field Packet from the jobsite: • Record service-site and customer details. • Confirm equipment make, model, serial number, refrigerant, capacity, and voltage. • Capture categorized evidence and technician-confirmed readings. • Complete job-specific checklists, refrigerant records, recommendations, and field-work attestations. • Resolve visible readiness requirements before finalizing a versioned packet. • Review customer-safe content before creating a PDF or signed link. • Track Field Leads and prepare verified handoffs without turning DuctRecon into a CRM. DuctRecon supports iPhone and iPad, including offline field work that synchronizes when service returns. Provider-dependent actions remain clearly unavailable until the server verifies them. A paid subscription is required after account creation and sign-in. Available plans and localized prices are shown in the app through the App Store. Every plan includes Field Leads and a monthly customer-report allowance. Additional report bundles and per-report purchases are not offered. Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: DuctRecon at 5.0 against Contractor's Work's 4.5. Contractor's Work's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DuctRecon sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.00 per month. Contractor's Work asks for nothing beyond the download.
DuctRecon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Contractor's Work has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
