Its new and intuitive user interface offers tactical operators situational awareness in any environment. The goTenna Pro+ app is a networked situational awareness application that pairs with goTenna Pro and Pro X series mesh networking radio devices to enable mission-critical communications completely independent of traditional cell, Wi-Fi or satellite connectivity. Users can download the goTenna Pro+ app to any iOS device, pair with a goTenna Pro or goTenna Pro X series mesh radio, and then use the mobile device to communicate critical information like near real-time locations, share map markings, and send text messages while 100% off-grid. goTenna Pro X series mesh radios have a 5W, tunable UHF/VHF output that can transmit critical data from your iOS device and also automatically act as relays that securely and anonymously "hop" messages across up to multiple devices to extend range. Getting started is simple: Download the app Log into the goTenna Pro Management Portal to automatically enable your appropriate frequency configurations - you may also provision while offline by manually entering your frequency sets. Follow the app instructions to pair with your goTenna Pro via Bluetooth Low-Energy. A map is free to download before you go off-grid, and are then used to overlay team location information, routes, perimeters, shapes and other map marking tools. Additionally, you can import your own maps for use offline. The app also includes a new intuitive interface for sending 1-to-1 and broadcast chat messages. Key app features: - Send & receive text-based messages via 1:1 or Broadcast chat - Automatic personnel location tracking - Customizable map markers for emergencies, dangers, and objectives - Routes, perimeters, and shape drawing tools - Download provided map for offline use or import your own map - Secure communications using AES 256 Encryption over the mesh network - Interoperable with other goTenna users with the goTenna ATAK plugin or Pro+ App users on Android devices over the mesh network - Connect to TAK server for 2-way communication with other users on the server - Bridge Node capability to TAK Server: Backhaul broadcast chat, PLI, and Map Objects from the mesh network to a TAK server - NOTE: TAK server connectivity requires portal permissions.
