The game is rigged. We're telling you now so you can't say we didn't. PixelFlip stacks three retro arcade games on top of each other: Pinball on top, Breakout in the middle, Hurdle at the bottom. Drain the ball and you don't lose, exactly. You fall. Into the next game down. You can climb back up. It won't save you. The longer you last, the meaner everything gets, and games end faster than you'd like. Only a Hurdle crash costs you a life. You have three. That's not a lot. We checked. THINGS THAT WILL GO WRONG - Score enough and a bumper starts pulsing. Hit it and your flippers swap sides. Yes, on purpose. - Other traps exist. They have names. You'll learn them. - Breakout remembers what you broke. It also gets less generous every time you come back. - Hurdle speeds up. Hurdle does not care. THINGS THAT WILL GO RIGHT, OCCASIONALLY - Gold rings in Hurdle, for people who like points and risk in equal measure. - Save & Quit before any ball launch. Two save slots, so someone else can disappoint themselves separately. Saves are one-use, because we've met you. - A top-10 high score table with three-letter initials, the way nature intended. - A Game Center leaderboard and 14 achievements, a few of which you won't understand until you've earned them. THINGS WE'RE NOT TELLING YOU There are hidden games in here. More than one. We're not saying where. That would ruin it, and also be helpful, which isn't really our brand. TRY IT FIRST Play the intro and one full game of Pinball before you spend anything. If you enjoy being humbled, a single one-time purchase unlocks everything: saving, every hidden game, and all future updates. No ads. No subscription. No energy meter judging you.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Triptoy at none against PixelFlip's 1. Triptoy also leads on ratings volume (41 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PixelFlip sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Triptoy asks for nothing beyond the download.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Triptoy against 5.0 for PixelFlip. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Triptoy has 41 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
