Traffic Sign Camera helps you see your current speed and the detected speed limit at a glance while you drive. It combines live camera recognition with map-based speed-limit lookup from OpenStreetMap, then shows the result in a clear driving display with a GPS speedometer. ► Top Features • Live camera-based recognition of European speed limit signs. • OpenStreetMap speed-limit lookup for roads, city areas, zones, and places where physical signs may be missing. • Smart merging of camera and map sources into one overall speed-limit display. • GPS speedometer with color feedback when you approach or exceed the current limit. • Sound alerts for newly detected signs and overspeed warnings. • CarPlay support for viewing speed and limit information on your dashboard. • Configurable km/h or mph units, speed tolerance, warning threshold, camera mode, and map query interval. • Ultra wide camera support on compatible iPhones for a broader view of roadside signs. ► How It Works Traffic Sign Camera watches the road ahead with your iPhone camera, finds possible speed-limit signs with on-device machine learning, and reads the sign value with Vision text recognition. At the same time, it can use your current location and course to request map-based speed-limit data. The app combines both sources so you can keep your eyes on one simple limit display. ► Important Limitations Traffic Sign Camera is a driver assistance tool, not a replacement for your attention or local traffic law. • Optimized for European speed limit signs. US speed limits are not currently supported. • Poor lighting, bad weather, dirty windows, unusual signs, or narrow curves can reduce camera recognition quality. • The app does not currently detect every end-of-limit, town boundary, or special-case road rule. • Map data depends on OpenStreetMap coverage and an internet connection. • Missed or incorrect detections can occur. Always follow posted signs and local rules. ► Notes from the Developer If you like Traffic Sign Camera, a rating helps a lot. About

ProxiDrive

Features

See how close you're following — before it's too late. ProxiDrive uses your iPhone's rear camera and on-device computer vision (no LiDAR, no cloud, nothing leaves your phone) to estimate the distance to the car ahead and warn you — on screen, with sound, a spoken alert, and haptics — when you're following too closely. TWO WAYS TO VIEW THE ROAD • Road view (default): live camera feed with lane markings, the tracked vehicle boxed, a top-down schematic of the road, and a HUD strip with speed, distance, time-to-collision, safety level, weather and clock. • Drive view: a minimal, distraction-free big-number distance readout. SET UP ONCE, OR NOT AT ALL ProxiDrive can now calibrate its own camera angle and mounting height automatically while you drive — no more manually lining up the horizon. A quick manual calibration screen is still there if you prefer it. YOUR RULES, YOUR UNITS Use the international 2-second/3-second following rule, build your own speed-to-distance table, or use the local regulatory table. Distances switch automatically between meters/km or feet/miles based on your region and how close the car ahead is. PRIVACY BY DESIGN Other vehicles' license plates are blurred automatically on screen (you can turn this off for dashcam-style use). Nothing is ever recorded or stored. Only a coarse, rounded location is used, for your own speed and optional weather. HONEST ABOUT ITS LIMITS In good daylight, distance estimates are typically accurate to within about 15–25%. Accuracy drops at night, in rain, or fog — ProxiDrive lowers its confidence rather than showing a confident wrong number. FREE, WITH AN OPTIONAL COFFEE Every safety feature — warnings, time-to-collision, lane overlay, calibration, every distance rule — is free, forever. If you'd like to support development, buy the developer a coffee (a one-time purchase, not a subscription) to unlock two extras: the weather widget and HUD layout editing. ProxiDrive is a best-effort driving aid, not a certified safety system. It does not replace your own attention behind the wheel.
