No counter to queue at on arrival, no plastic SIM pushed into a tray, no taking your own number out of the phone. Bali eSIM puts prepaid mobile data for Bali and the rest of Indonesia onto the iPhone you already work from. Written for the trip that is also a work week: a video call at dawn from Canggu, a desk in Ubud, the boat over to the Gilis, a night in Jakarta before flying home. Buying and installing Choose a plan, pay with Apple Pay or a card, and the eSIM lands in the app shortly afterwards. Install it with one tap, by QR code or by typing the details in — a couple of minutes, and the phone needs a connection while it happens, so home Wi-Fi beats the departure gate. Turn the line on once you land. Already in Indonesia? Buying, topping up and support work from there; cafe Wi-Fi is enough to install on. What you can buy • fixed data packs, from small to large • unlimited plans: data does not stop, and after the daily high-speed allowance the rest of that day runs slower • day passes: you set the number of days, 1 to 30 • every plan takes a top-up in the app while the eSIM is still running; an eSIM whose time has run out does not Prepaid, paid once: no contract, nothing that renews on its own. While you are away A calculator sizes the plan from how long you are staying and how hard you use the phone. Your balance is live, a notice arrives before the data runs out, and eSIMs sit side by side for the next trip. Sign in with Apple, Google or an e-mail code — no password. Your own SIM never leaves the phone, so calls and texts still reach your number and WhatsApp stays on it. The eSIM does data, nothing else. Coverage Indonesian networks, with 4G/LTE and 5G wherever the network offers it, from Bali to Lombok, the Gilis and Jakarta. The country you change planes in is not included; for that leg there are regional plans with fixed data: two Asia plans, Singapore & Malaysia & Thailand, Australia & New Zealand. Refund Never installed it, never used any data? The full amount comes back inside 15 days of buying it, and we do not ask what changed. Requires an iPhone XS or newer running iOS 15 or later, eSIM-capable and free of a carrier lock; cellular iPads with eSIM work as well.
