Foot Size Check

Features

Foot Size Check measures feet with nothing but a sheet of Letter or A4 paper and a photo. Keep track of foot size over time. Place a foot on Letter or A4 paper, trace around it with a pen, and photograph the sheet. The app reads the outline and measures foot length, width, and a suggested shoe size automatically. No points to line up by hand. The outline is kept at true size. Features: - Foot measurement on Letter or A4 paper (length and width) - Automatic measurement: the traced line is read, heel, toe, and width points are placed for you, and length and width are calculated (you can still adjust by hand) - Foot outline: the traced line is saved as a true-size shape - Foot outline card: send it to family right after saving - Suggested shoe size β€” a label-size guide: foot length plus 0.5–1.0 cm. This is separate from the inside length measured using an insole - EU, US and UK conversion in the record detail, and the shoe size shown in your own notation (choose JP, EU, US or UK in Settings) - Shoe size chart: compare foot length with EU, US and UK sizes across different size categories - Growth history saved over time - Track left and right feet separately - Fine-tune measurement points by hand - Growth card: share the latest length, outline, and chart as one image with family - Insole measuring: trace and photograph a shoe's insole to see the current toe room (about 10 mm is a general guide, per the Japanese Society for Foot Care and Podiatric Medicine) - How to fit shoes: checks for choosing shoes, based on podiatry society guidance - My size book: automatically keeps the size that fits each brand, from your shoe notes - Measurement reminder: at an interval that matches the age (every 3 months up to age 3, 4 months to age 6, 6 months from age 7; guidance from the Japanese Society of Podiatric Medicine) - Birthday messages: add a birth date and get one quiet greeting that morning - No account or banner ads. Photo analysis and measurement happen on your device. The developer cannot read your data - iCloud sync is free and optional. Only when you enable it are records and photos saved in your private iCloud storage, available on your other devices and after a new phone or reinstall. The developer cannot access them. Foot Size Check Pro (optional one-time purchase): - Same-age reference band on the growth chart (by sex; published survey data from Japan, Spain, or China) - Shoe replacement estimate: about how many months until the current shoes get too small - Register more than one name for family records (one is free) - Add a second shoe note and beyond (one is free) - See the growth chart for the whole "All" span - Remove the Foot Size Check label from growth cards - A notification when the toe room is likely down to about 5 mm, and an estimate of the toe room in 3 months - Show in store: one person’s shoe size in extra-large text, filling the screen - Measuring, records, the growth chart, foot outlines, reminders, and birthday messages are free. Not a subscription Note: results are estimates only. Shoe fit varies by brand, model, and foot shape. We recommend measuring in person before buying shoes. Look back at foot photos, outlines and sizes in date order. Outlines share the same scale, and you can overlay two records of the same foot to see how it has grown. Optional foot and profile photos are available across your devices when iCloud sync is enabled.
