About

Feed Stray Animals

Features

Feed Stray Animals is a shared map that shows where people feed and care for stray dogs and cats. See the places near you, check what is already been done, and add or update a spot yourself so help reaches the animals that still need it. THE MAP - MAP * See the feeding places around you as pins on a map, the moment the app opens. * Open a place to see its photos, which animals are there, and what was last left for them: food, water or shelter. * Add a place yourself in a few taps: pick the spot, choose the animals, say what you provided, add photos. * Been there today? Add an update, so the next person knows the bowls are full. * Not fed or given water in the last 24 hours? Filter the map to find the places that need someone now. * No animals around any more? Say so. Places that are reported empty often enough leave the map, so it stays true. * Search any address, near you or on the other side of the world. POSTS * Share a photo and a few words about the animals you look after. * Like and comment on what others post. * Reading a post in another language? Tap Translate to read it in your own. PEOPLE * Follow the people whose work you want to see. Nobody has to accept anything. * Find people by name. * Send a message, with photos, to arrange who goes where. YOUR OWN LANGUAGE The app speaks 19 languages: English, Dutch, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, Greek, Polish, Romanian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, Albanian, Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian and Arabic. It starts in the language of your phone, and you can change it at any time. SAFE AND RESPECTFUL * Report a place, a post or a person that does not belong here. * Block someone you do not want to hear from. * Keep your profile private if you prefer. * Delete your account from inside the app whenever you want. You can look at the map without an account. To add a place, post or chat, you sign up with your e-mail address or sign in with your existing account. Feed Stray Animals is made by people who feed strays themselves. If a bowl gets filled because of it, it has done its job.
