Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Data Usage at 4.4 against Data Remaining's 4.1. Data Usage also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 57) and review sentiment (47% vs 32%). Data Remaining's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Data Usage ships an update every 3 weeks, Data Remaining every 6 days. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
