SkyMarks is the Bluesky bookmarks app for your iPhone, iPad and Mac. Bluesky is the biggest thing happening in social media in 2025. It seems like everyone is jumping on board, with over 31 million users as of February. When you jump in, though, you may find some things that you miss from your old social networks, like the ability to bookmark a post. It’s a common thing to want to save a post to come back to later. Maybe you want to think a while before responding. Maybe the post has a useful link in it that you want to come back to. Or maybe you just really like the post and want to keep it around. Until Bluesky decides to implement bookmarking itself, SkyMarks can be your Bluesky bookmark manager. To bookmark a post from your browser, just tap the share button (the button with the arrow pointing out of a box) and then select SkyMarks from the list of available options. Once you’ve bookmarked a post, it will be available in SkyMarks whenever you need it. SkyMarks synchs its bookmarks across all your devices that use the same Apple ID. So if you bookmark a post while you’re waiting in line at the grocery store, you’ll find it on your iPad when you’re reading in your living room or your Mac when you’re working at your desk. SkyMarks has robust features to find bookmarked posts. You can search by post text, author name, author handle or even your own notes. You can even search the text in images attached to posts you’ve bookmarked! You can also tag bookmarks and view bookmarks by tag, so you can use SkyMarks for multiple projects and still get to the bookmarks you need when you need them. SkyMarks is free to use and has no in-app purchases. It’s just here to make the transition to Bluesky a little easier for you. If you find a bug or want a feature, please provide feedback. SkyMarks will hopefully one day be open-source. There are a few issues that need to be figured out before its code is released to the public though.
