The app presents the earth daylight status at the chosen date and time on a mercatorian earth map projection. It indicates the curve where the sun is -0.8 degrees below the horizon (sunset or sunrise) as well as the curve where the sun is at -18 degrees below the horizon (astronomical twilight or dawn). It also depicts the sun and moon positions in the equatorial coordinate system, the moon's phase, next equinox/solstice notification , user location, next lunar eclipse & Easter date
