Every functional fitness timer in one app — AMRAP, EMOM, Tabata, For Time, intervals and rest — with audio cues you can hear over a loud gym. WHAT IT DOES • AMRAP: as many rounds as possible inside a fixed window • EMOM: one movement started every minute on the minute • Tabata: twenty seconds of work against ten of rest, eight times • For Time: a fixed amount of work finished as fast as possible • Custom intervals with your own work and rest blocks • Audio and visual cues on every transition, so you never look at the screen mid-set BUILT FOR THE GYM FLOOR Setup takes seconds: pick the format, set the numbers, start. The running screen shows the round, the phase and the time remaining in type large enough to read from the floor. Your history is saved so you can compare a benchmark workout against the last time you did it. FREE TO USE The core timers are free, including AMRAP, EMOM, Tabata and For Time. PREMIUM • Unlimited workouts, with no session cap • Advanced presets with multi-phase intervals and recovery blocks • Extra audio packs Monthly: $3.99 per month. Yearly: $19.99 per year. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: WOD Timer at none against WOD Machine's shown. WOD Timer also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 11 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
