Move, plan and press GO! Pit Cat is a cat physics puzzle where timing is everything. Pit is a sleepy black cat with a talent for getting into trouble. He always sets off in the same direction, so you can't steer him: move the pieces on the board, press GO at the right moment and watch him bounce his way to the goal. Easy to learn, hard to master: some levels are a quick brain teaser, others will make you think twice. HOW TO PLAY • Move the pieces on the board to build Pit's path. • Press GO at just the right moment. • Inside a cannon the game pauses, so you choose where he flies next. • Collect every star to master each level. • Stuck? Ask for a hint. 100 HANDCRAFTED LEVELS Every few levels a new mechanic appears: • Barrels that send Pit where their arrow points (the golden ones can be moved). • Cannons where you choose which way he flies. • Portals that teleport him to the other side. • Sliding walls on rails and walls that vanish after one touch. • A power-up that makes Pit invincible, so he smashes any enemy he touches. • Spikes, cacti, saws on the move, dogs that run straight ahead and bees that chase Pit. WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT • A cute cat game for puzzle lovers of all ages. • Satisfying physics: plan every bounce before you press GO. • Quick levels, perfect for a short break. • A simple, charming style and a hero who always lands on his feet. Featured on Pocket Gamer: a cute puzzler that is genuinely challenging. Can you guide Pit all the way to level 100?

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Pit Cat at 4.7 against Cubesc's 4.2. Pit Cat also leads on ratings volume (56 vs 16). Cubesc's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cubesc sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pit Cat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Pit Cat holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 56 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Cubesc's written reviews are positive against 78% of Pit Cat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Cubesc ships an update monthly, Pit Cat daily. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
