The clearest difference is rating: AMI by Hunter at 3.0 against Dexel's 1.0. AMI by Hunter also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
AMI by Hunter holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of AMI by Hunter's written reviews are positive against 33% of Dexel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
AMI by Hunter ships an update every 3 weeks, Dexel every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
