Walk somewhere new. MichiAruki is a walking concierge that helps you find streets you have not walked yet. On days when you cannot decide where to go, one draw a day picks a direction for you. - One direction a day Draw, and a direction you have not walked lights up, together with a small destination for today. Each draw comes with an unfamiliarity rating on a five-point scale and a theme of the day. - Or choose the destination yourself Instead of drawing, you can pick a destination from the map or by searching. You can also start from somewhere other than your current location. Choose how far you feel like walking - nearby, normal or farther - and the destination is picked to match. - Walk, and discover Record your walks with GPS. Streets you have never taken, and the new distance you have covered, come into view as you go. - The map you have walked The streets you walk are painted onto the map, little by little. The parts of your own neighbourhood that are still blank start to show. - Keep the places you liked Save the places you find on foot. Group them into areas and categories, and they become landmarks for your next walk. - Your records stay on your device Walks, locations and saved spots are all stored on your device. We never send them to our servers. Only when you look for a destination does the app ask Apple Maps about your surroundings. Which features you use is sent as anonymous statistics, to help improve the app. - Keep going with the screen off While a walk is being recorded, location use continues even when the screen is off. - About MichiAruki Pro - - Redraw your direction without limits (one draw a day is always free) - Save as many spots as you like (10 on the free plan) - Create as many areas as you like (3 on the free plan) - Look back on your months and years (the walk list and calendar are free) - Choose from five color themes (Matcha, the default, is free) Monthly or yearly.
