functionCalculator
This app calculates the value of mathematical functions y = f(x) for various types of numbers, including irrational ones. It displays results as exact fractions with square roots and can convert them to decimals. The app also supports calculations involving two different input values, alpha and beta.
- Calculate function values for any number type
- Display results as exact fractions
- Convert results to decimal
- Perform operations on two input values
- Supports irrational numbers

Calculate the value of the mathematical function y = f (x). It is possible to assign to x any integer, rational number, irrational number. For example, you can assign square root 2 to x. It is not necessary to fix it to decimal. The calculation result is output in the form of a fraction using square root. It is exactly the same as math calculations. You can also convert the result to decimal. Calculate the values of f (α) and f (β) for two kinds of values, x = α and x = β, and f (α) + f (β), f (α) - f ), F (α) * f (β), f (α) / f (β) can also be calculated.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: functionCalculator at none against SymCalc's 1. functionCalculator also leads on iOS requirement (10.3 vs 13.0). SymCalc's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 11 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
