About

AcoustaLab

Features

AcoustaLab is a local signal generator and audio-checking toolkit for speakers, headphones and audio equipment. Quick Checks & Archives: • Rattle Finder: mark a candidate frequency during a slow sweep, fine-tune it, confirm it by listening to a steady tone and narrow the search range. • Retained spectra: capture microphone spectra, keep the last result after stopping, and save snapshots with time and capture conditions. • A/B comparison: overlay two saved spectra on a shared scale, inspect per-band differences and optionally remove the overall level difference. Warnings identify changes in input, output, gain and other recorded conditions. • Test archives: organize spectra, listening findings and guided checks into device or room projects. Rename records, add notes, move them between projects and export CSV. Signal and test tools: • Single tones with sine, square, triangle and sawtooth waveforms, logarithmic frequency control and fine adjustment. • Linear, logarithmic and stepped sweeps, with single, counted or continuous repeat modes. • White, pink and brown noise with filter controls. • Stereo, left-only and right-only routing. • Guided listening checks for reference tones, sweeps, noise, channels and low frequencies, with local history and share cards. • Save, import and export presets. External loopback calibration supports PDF, CSV and PNG reports. • Input, output and sample-rate information to help verify your audio path. Measurement notes: spectrum levels are relative digital dBFS. They include microphone, placement and room effects and are not calibrated acoustic dB SPL or an isolated device response. Keep input, volume and placement consistent when comparing. Rattle findings are confirmed by the user, not automatic fault diagnoses. Phone speakers have limited low- and high-frequency performance. External loopback calibration requires suitable equipment and cables. Signal generation, microphone analysis, presets, history and archives are processed and stored locally. Raw microphone recordings are not uploaded; spectrum snapshots do not contain raw recordings. Files leave the app only when you choose to export or share them. No advertising, user tracking or account registration. Includes 3 days of starter access. After starter access ends, Monthly Pro, Yearly Pro or a one-time Lifetime Unlock provides continued access to core testing features. The purchase screen includes localized pricing, Restore Purchases, Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
