Both are free to download. Death 3d sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SOM sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Death 3d holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SOM has 239 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Death 3d's written reviews are positive against 70% of SOM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Death 3d ships an update every 2 months, SOM every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
