FlightSight is an aviation sight level app. Its purpose is to help pilots determine whether their flight path is above or below distant objects. Position the sight target on cloud tops or bottoms, mountain passes or other aircraft and FlightSight will tell you if the object is higher or lower, and by how many degrees. FlightSight is a low budget HUD (Heads Up Display)! The FlightSight app can be used by holding the iPhone or iPad by hand. Or it can be mounted on the top of the instrument panel. Four display modes can be selected when using FlightSight. Fixed target grid, fixed target grid and fixed level line, floating target grid and floating level line (shown here) or floating target grid only. FlightSight can be used on devices in either vertical (portrait) or horizontal (landscape) positions. Finger gestures can be used to zoom the FlightSight view in or out. FlightSight also has a camera option. When you press the camera button the current image will be saved with all FlightSight information embossed on it. Stop guessing, safe fuel, be safer … use FlightSight! Use of FlightSight is not an FAA approved method or flight path navigation decisions. FlighSight does not replace good pilot judgement and accurate weather reports. FlightSight is simply a tool for helping pilots confirm their flight path decisions.

E6BJet does what most professional aviation slide-rules do, and adds advanced features for professional pilots flying modern jet aircraft: QNH-QFE conversion, precision temperature corrections to altitudes/heights, crossover altitude determination, and accurate weight/volume conversion for kerosene, wide-cut, and avgas fuels using actual density. E6BJet also computes turn radius, diameter and circumference, along with turn rate. Thumbwheels/sliders are used to enter values, which is much faster than aligning discs, or typing in numbers. E6BJet can determine past, present and future sunrise/sunset and civil twilight times, for any location on Earth, between years 1900 and 2999. A user-expandable database of aerodrome locations is provided. An appearance similar to modern aircraft flight guidance panels allows instant “what-if” calculations, and keeps all calculation parameters in view simultaneously. Results are shown in most commonly-used aviation units at the same time, eliminating time spent on conversions. E6BJet can make full use of the altimeter function most iPhones provide, and act as a baro-recorder. E6BJet allows quick flight planning calculations for any aircraft, from sport aeroplanes to airliners, and handles calculations well into the supersonic jet range. It is ready for the next-generation of pilots and aircraft. No subscription required. Fully functional in airplane-mode. No in-app purchases needed. No analytics or tracking.
