Questrom Common vs GradGather

The Questrom Common is your digital connection to the graduate student experience at the Questrom School of Business. The mobile application gives access to the following main features of the platform: events, resources, organizations, chat, maps, directories, profile, polls, and school feed.

GradGather is a platform to help you make connections on your university campus using a unique approach to creating small conversation groups. (See our website gradgather.com.) Here’s how it works: once you have an account, you will be notified of upcoming GradGather sessions for your degree type on your campus. If you join a session, you will be matched into a group of 4 grad students from different departments, so you get to meet new, interesting people from across your university. You can see your group and message them in the GradGather app. Next it’s time to get together! Find a time to get coffee, go for a walk, tour each others’ departments, or anything else you come up with. GradGather is flexible around your schedule, preferences, and location. If you love your group, great! Keep messaging and hanging out! If not, that’s okay, you can sign up for as many sessions as you want. GradGather was founded at Boston University by a Law Student and an Astronomy PhD student who wanted to meet people outside their departments. Now armed with an MBA student and computer programmer at Northwestern University, we are excited to take GradGather to more campuses in the coming year!
