About

ZipTalk

Features

A five-minute voice note lands on WhatsApp while you are in a meeting. ZipTalk writes it out and you read it when you can. WhatsApp can already transcribe a voice note. ZipTalk summarizes the long ones and translates what arrives in another language. Calls you make from the app turn into text too, with what was agreed on. Connect your number once, with a QR code, the same way you do on WhatsApp Web. From then on the voice notes that arrive turn into text on their own. No opening the app, no button to press. WHAT YOU GET Automatic transcription. The text shows up in the conversation itself, or privately, just for you. Summaries of the long ones. The main points first, so you can decide whether the rest is worth reading. Translation. It arrives in one language, you read it in yours. More than 50 languages. Calls from the app. Call from your connected number using your phone's own call screen, with speaker and Bluetooth. Turn on transcription and each call becomes text, with a summary that pulls out what was agreed. History. If you want, keep a number's voice notes and calls in ZipTalk and come back to them later, with the transcription and the summary. Several numbers, and your team. Connect as many numbers as you need and invite people to use them with you. WHAT YOU CAN ADJUST Fix what the transcription keeps getting wrong: a client's name, your trade's slang. Filter profanity, which comes out replaced by hashtags. Transcribe only long voice notes, only short ones, or both. Turn it off for one contact without turning off the rest. WHERE YOUR TIME IS GOING The app shows how much time you saved reading instead of listening, who sends you the most audio, who you speak with most, and when the voice notes arrive. PRIVACY By default, the audio is processed as it arrives and discarded, along with the transcription. Only what you turn on stays in ZipTalk: each number's voice note history and call history. Your conversations stay under WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption. SUBSCRIPTION Plans are priced by minutes of audio per month, and every plan has the same features. In the app you can see your usage and how much you have left. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
