Elemental Box vs Bright Day Block Party ™

Physical simulation game that enjoys real physical operation of each shape and change in each material.

Hours of creative building, child directed open-ended play, very positive screen time for children. Less mindless TV time, this builder is screen time with a purpose. Children have a natural curiosity that when provided with the right tools unlocks imagination, self-expression, creativity, problem solving and critical thinking, and ultimately a feeling of confidence and accomplishment. Bright Day launched this digital builder as a compliment to its physical Big Blocks that inspire children to build. It is our dream to bridge the important and necessary world of physical building with the fast emerging world of digital building. We love the idea of building that stimulates the mind and the body. Our Bright Day Block Party ™ Digital Builder is designed to be simple to use, and easy to build whatever a child wants to create – basic shapes that combine to build anything and everything. Design and build a reptile, a robot, a vehicle – of course! Visit the moon, a zoo, build your friend’s house – you bet! If you can Dream It, you can Build It with this digital builder. Create your build – snap a picture and send it to a friend – collaborate and build with your friends – what FUN. Super-safe screen-time. It’s a digital activity that helps your children learn as they play – something educators and parents can feel good about. Great for children 2 years and older – perfect for those 2 to 7 years. Here’s what our community is saying: “Our preschoolers have always loved the Bright Day big foam blocks. Very exciting to add the new Block Party video game because now we have more Bright Day learning tools for our children”. ~ Erika, elementary school teacher “At our school we love when the kids use the Block Party app to build digitally and then transfer the object they built to the actual Big Blocks. We see this app helping our kids increase their digital skills” ~ Katyna, church preschool coordinator And, a quote from the head of Bright Day Big Blocks: “Bright Day is firmly grounded in the world of physical play with our big, kid size foam blocks – we felt we needed to launch this digital builder to bridge and boost creative expression in both the physical and digital worlds – it all makes a positive contribution to early childhood development.” ~ Laurel Tucker, co-founder of Bright Day LLC
