Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: RTBGo at every 4 weeks against The Mall Cineplex's every 12 months. RTBGo also leads on rating (4.3 vs 3.9). The Mall Cineplex's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
RTBGo holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 25 and 19 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of The Mall Cineplex's written reviews are positive against 55% of RTBGo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
The Mall Cineplex ships an update every 12 months, RTBGo every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
