crabhands vs Rhune

Let us track your favourite artists and send you notification alerts when they release new music on Spotify, or when we discover any upcoming releases for them! To set up a new account, just hit the Sign Up button, follow the instructions and then login to your Spotify account. We will scan for the artists that you follow. A list of the latest new releases will then be available in the app. If we find any upcoming releases for them we will also display these in the app. If you've enabled push notifications then we'll notify you when we find new and upcoming releases for your artists. New music releases are by default added to a playlist which we create within your Spotify account so that you have one easy place to listen to new music. You can change this option at any time from the Settings screen. We sync the artists you follow on Spotify before we check for new releases, so if you have followed new artists then they'll get included when we scan for new releases. Please note: you cannot listen to the releases within the app - you do this within Spotify as usual.

Rhune is a place to write about music. Pick any track, album, artist or playlist and express what you hear in it, then keep it all together on your profile. Your profile is yours to shape. Feature the records you love and pin the song you've had on repeat. Build a timeline of your listening history using the Chronology tool, and arrange how and when you first discovered your favourite tracks. Follow people whose taste you trust. The Board brings you their notes, along with writing from others that matches what you listen to. Heart notes, comment on them, and save anything you want to come back to. Search any artist or album to find what people are writing about it. Listen to previews from Apple Music as you read, and import your playlists from Spotify. Verified artists write on Rhune too: read their own notes on their records, in their own words.
